No More Dysphoria is a non-profit organization created with the goal of helping transgender individuals pay for major aspects of their transition. Transitioning is a long, expensive, and scary process. Trans people face discrimination in nearly every aspect of their lives, and we hope to make at least part of that easier.

What does transgender mean?
When a person has a gender identity that does not correspond with their biological sex or the gender they were assigned at birth

What does it mean to transition?
When someone transitions, they are changing their gender presentation, which includes physical, social, and legal aspects, from one gender identity to another. Transition can include (but is not limited to, or required to include): hormone replacement treatment (HRT), surgeries, legal name and gender marker change, and social (coming out) transition.

How much does transitioning cost?
There is no set cost for transitioning, because everyone transitions differently. A quick google search will show most average estimates at around $50,000 dollars (which includes therapist visits, hormone replacement therapy, name change costs, and surgeries).
